DNS Management User Guide

Tuonetti DNS Management is a paid service that can be activated for domains registered through us. DNS Management is based on AWS Route 53, one of the most comprehensive DNS networks in the world.

How to use the service

When you register a domain and select DNS Management as an additional service, it will be automatically activated for you without any additional steps.

If you have already registered a domain and later want to add DNS management, please go to your own domains on our customer pages first. Open the domain for which you want to enable DNS management. Select "Additional services" in the left sidebar and subscribe to DNS management. Once the service has been paid for, remember the name servers for that domain in the Domain Manager as follows:

  • ns1.tuonetti.cloud
  • ns2.tuonetti.cloud
  • ns3.tuonetti.cloud
  • ns4.tuonetti.cloud

Remember that you can always contact our customer service.

Using DNS Management

You can access DNS Management directly via this link, or by navigating to the domain you wish to manage via the client pages and selecting DNS Management from the left sidebar of the page.

Adding a record

In DNS Management, click on "Add Record". Under "Type" you can select the type of record (e.g. TXT, A, CNAME). Once you have selected the record type, you will be able to fill in other information specific to the record type, such as "Name", "IP Address" or "Cname".

Finally, click on "Confirm". The record will be updated immediately and will start working normally after about 5 minutes depending on the DNS cache update of the different devices.

Deleting a record

In the DNS Management view, you can delete individual records from the right side of the record list by clicking on the "Delete record" button.

Editing a record

In the DNS Management view, you can edit individual records from the right-hand side of the record list by pressing the 'Edit record' button.
